We’re looking for a sharp, self-motivated Business Development & Product Sourcing Manager to help drive our growth. This person will lead the charge on expanding our supplier base, bringing in new product lines, analyzing market trends, and strengthening our relationships with existing vendors.
You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, negotiating terms, and ensuring our product catalog stays ahead of the curve in the off-road and UTV space.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Relations
- Source and onboard new brands and suppliers aligned with our quality standards
- Maintain strong relationships with current suppliers and hold them accountable to performance, pricing, and delivery terms
- Negotiate terms, pricing, MAP policies, and distribution agreements
- Product Expansion
- Research and vet new product lines based on industry trends, customer demand, and performance feedback
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to coordinate product launches and campaigns
- Analyze product sales performance and make recommendations for line expansions or cuts
- Market Intelligence
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technology in the UTV/off-road space
- Attend trade shows, races, and industry events to build relationships and spot new opportunities
- Identify gaps in our product lineup and find high-quality solutions to fill them
- Operational Collaboration
- Work with purchasing and warehouse teams to streamline ordering, lead times, and inventory flow
- Assist in setting up new SKUs and ensuring accurate product data is entered into our system
- Collaborate with web and marketing teams on positioning, pricing, and presentation of new products
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, vendor management, or product sourcing (motorsports or powersports preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Solid understanding of UTVs, off-road products, and industry trends
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers (domestic and international)
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, purchase orders, and CRM tools
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently
Bonus Skills
- Existing network in the UTV or off-road manufacturing world
- Experience with SellerCloud, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms
- Prior background in motorsports parts distribution or retail
