Whether you’re cruising around the pits, working on your property, or hauling loads, these shocks dramatically improve handling, stability, and overall comfort.

Designed specifically for your vehicle, the Elka Stage 5 Shocks are vehicle-specific and engineered to maximize the Defender’s suspension geometry giving you premium shock performance.

Adjustments & Features

High-Speed Compression Adjustment - Allows fine-tuning of the damping resistance when the shock is being compressed quickly. This adjustment controls: 

• Resistance upon landing from jumps, harsh or sudden square-edged impacts
• Riding at high speed over whoops, choppy terrain or tire tracks

Low-Speed Compression Adjustment - Allows precise tuning of damping resistance during slow compression. This adjustment helps controls:

• Body roll when cornering
• Rear-end squat under hard acceleration
• Front-end dive during braking
• Ride quality over whoops at moderate speeds
• Undulations and elevation changes

Rebound Damping - Allows fine-tuning of the damping resistance when the shock is being compressed slowly. This adjustment controls:

• Body roll when cornering
• Rear-end squatting under hard acceleration
• Front-end diving when braking
• Riding over whoops at moderate speed, undulations and elevation changes in the terrain.

Threaded Spring Preload - Enables fine-tune the initial force applied on the springs to:

• Balance weight distribution between front and rear
• Adjust ride height and ground clearance
• Raise or lower the vehicle to suit terrain or personal preference
