The problem is simple—there isn't enough airflow reaching the rear axles CV's.

The SHIFT Performance Labs Rear Axle CV Duct Air Cooling Kit is engineered to solve that problem.

By drawing cool, fresh air from the side fenders and directing it precisely onto the rear CV axles, this system helps reduce operating temperatures where it matters most. Lower temperatures mean improved reliability, longer CV boot life, and greater confidence when you're pushing your machine.

Every component is purpose-built for performance. The CAD-designed intake ducts mount cleanly to the factory fenders, while precision laser-cut, powder-coated steel brackets bolt directly to the transmission using existing hardware for a straightforward installation—no drilling, fabrication, or guesswork required.

The adjustable outlet tube allows you to fine-tune airflow for a wide range of axle diameters and suspension setups, making the kit equally at home on a stock machine or a fully built race car.

For racers and data-driven drivers, the transmission bracket includes an integrated mounting provision for an AiM infrared temperature sensor. When paired with an AiM MXM data logger, you can monitor rear axle temperatures in real time, allowing you to spot rising temperatures before they become expensive failures.

The kit included high-temperature, wire-reinforced heavy-duty duct hose is supplied extra long, allowing you to route and trim it for the cleanest installation on your specific setup. Heavy-duty thumb-screw hose clamps make servicing fast while eliminating the risk of over-tightening and damaging the ducts.
